Aluminium, Saag and brass

The round, spinning movements of the wheel are like the whirl of a Sufi Dervish - with a contemplative vibe to them. The swirling is almost hypnotic for one to get lost into - it helps you channelise your thoughts, as if gathering the scattered bits and putting a flow to them.

Rotated is based on the same, noble principle - the idea was to create round objects that one may enjoy rotating/fidgeting with. We custom designed and built the brass bearing holder+shaft hardware at our workshop - a detail that enables one end to remain fixed and the other end to hold different rotational round parts that can screw into this piece.

The brass body is a simple pipe combined with wood at the base, a contrast to avoid scratches and clunky sounds. The finishes on the metal can be adapted to match your own space - matte, mirror, glossy, or brush finish.
